John and Mary's Memories is a wonderful card game in which you must find and match cards with the same figure to make them disappear from the board. Once you remove them all, you win the level. In this game you travel all over the world, visiting important countries and playing games in many cities. All the countries offer different difficulty levels, so you'd better start from the easy ones. The levels offer different layouts and bonuses. What is more, if you get stuck you can use the hints or the shuffle option in case you run out of matches. However, you should bear in mind that using any of these two deducts points from your total score.
I really like that every time you visit a new city, the characters tell you something about it, so it's a good a way of learning history and geography while you play. Also, as you move from country to country you also collect nice souvenirs from the different locations. The only drawback I found is that it only includes one mode.
As for the graphics, they are nice but not really detailed, the characters are not really attractive, but not completely ugly. The music is nice, featuring different pieces for all the locations you visit and sound effects are average.
To sum up, John and Mary's Memories is a nice and original card game thanks to which you can learn a bit about the geography and history of important places of the globe.
